Old Manor House charm, beautiful countryside location, stylish bedroom decor

Struggled to check in, unclear breakfast process!!! Old radiators malfunctioning, which could be a concern for some!!! Car parking could use better organization!!!

The room was nice, but the slow service really dragged my stay down.

I absolutely loved the charming atmosphere of this lovely manor—it's cozy and set in beautiful countryside! The restaurant menu was inventive, featuring fresh produce, and breakfast had great choices beyond the usual options. I would have appreciated a clearer check-in process as it felt a bit confusing when I arrived.

I almost thought of giving haighton manor a good review, but i just couldn’t. the breakfast truly lacked creativity, especially that eggs benedict which wasn’t anything to rave about. there was nobody there for checkout. i felt utterly abandoned, like they didn’t care at all. a warm welcome gift, perhaps a little gesture, woudl ve been nice too.

Haighton Manor is such a gem! The room had incredible attention to detail and was super clean. The food was excellent, especially dinner. Just wish breakfast had a few more options like yogurt or fruit. Still, a lovely place to unwind!

Breakfast had some room for improvement. I would have preferred a wider selection that included options like fruit and cereals rather than just pastries. a makeup mirror would have been a nice touch in the bathroom, making things a bit more convenient. while my stay was enjoyable, a few tweaks could really elevate the experience.

We found the location to be just delightful, with beautiful countryside views that enhanced our relaxing stay. Our king room was incredibly clean and comfortable, providing us with a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The dinner at the restaurant was a highlight, showcasing fresh, high-quality ingredients and creative dishes that were a pleasure to enjoy.

Haighton Manor is such a fantastic place! I loved our family suite, which was beautifully furnished with a mix of tweed, leather, and wood accents. The en-suite bathroom had both a bath and a powerful shower. The staff were super attentive, and the food—both dinner and breakfast—was the best we've had in a long time. Everything felt fresh and high quality, and the kids enjoyed the garden area!

Only downside was the heatwave. we wished there were more fans available.

It was just a suitable option for a getaway in Grimsargh with good value considering the price it charged. The room had incredible attention to detail and was super clean, which contributed to a cozy stay. Make sure to ask for any non-slip bath mats if you have balance issues in the shower.
